Nikolai and Natalia

Nikolai and Natalia started dancing together in the Spring of 2004. Both are originally from Minsk, Belarus where they actually lived ten minutes from each other, almost in the same neighborhood, but had never met. After Nikolai stopped dancing with his previous partner, Yelena, and Natalia split from her dance partner, Marat, they had a try out in Minsk. Shortly after, Natalia moved to Baltimore, Maryland where they quickly began preparing to compete.

After representing Belarus at the World Amateur Championships for two years, Nikolai and Natalia decided to turn professional and dance for the United States. After climbing the Ten Dance ranks year after year, in 2011, Nikolai and Natalia became the youngest couple in the history of the United States to win a professional world title.

They continue to work hard at their home studio in Baltimore, Maryland and you can see them at many of the great competitions all around the country and world.
